Studying at a EUniWell university
Erasmus+ studies
Are you interested in an exchange semester or an entire year abroad at one of the EUniWell member universities? Then apply for a semester/year abroad funded by Erasmus+. The application process is organized by the faculties' Centers for International Relations (ZIB). Please refer to the Study abroad with Erasmus+ page for information on the application process and contact the Centre of International Relations of your faculty. If you have any questions about inclusion and support services during your stay abroad, please contact the relevant advisor for your exchange programme or the Service Center Inclusion.
If your faculty cannot offer you a place at the university of your choice at the European University for Well-Being, please do not hesitate to contact us again and we will discuss your options.
EUniWell Mobility Skills
All students, teachers and employees who do an exchange at one of our EUniWell partner universities will be offered a variety of courses on EUniWell Mobility Skills (EMS). This is intended to train language and intercultural communication skills in particular. As part of the preparation, all those interested in an exchange are asked to take part in one or more of the EMS courses.
More information and links to the offers of the respective partners can be found on the EUniWell website (EUniWell Mobility Skills).
Internship in a EUniWell environment
Do an internship in one of the EUniWell cities or regions! EUniWell works with various associated partners on the subject of well-being. Associated partners are e.g. research institutions, schools, cities and communities or local companies. We would be happy to help you find the right contact. Of course, you can also approach organisations and companies independently. An internship can be funded by the common options. We are delighted to be of further help.
Short-term mobility
EUniWell Abroad Fellowship
The EUniWell Abroad Fellowship is offered annually. It supports your short-term mobility of 1 to max. 3 weeks to an EUniWell partner university. Your plan or project should be in line with EUniWell's vision and the Sustainable Development Goals and cover a well-being-relevant topic (Health & Well-Being, Social Equality & Well-Being, Environmental Change & Well-Being, Culture, Multilingualism & Well-Being, Teacher Education & Well-Being).
Further information on the call for applications and the conditions can be found on the Abroad Fellowship's homepage.
Courses
Short-term mobilities within the partner universities of the European University for Well-Being (EUniWell) can also be realised at course level. In particular, the so-called blended intensive programmes (blended learning courses with a mandatory on-site phase) offer a great opportunity to gain experience abroad and to come into contact with participants from various countries. Current offers can be found in the course catalogue (see below).
Exchange on course level: EUniWell's joint course catalogue
The EUniWell Alliance offers a wide range of courses and training programmes for which members of the University of Cologne can apply. The programmes are published in the joint EUniWell course catalogue. New offers are published in the catalogue at regular intervals, so feel free to check the new offers now and then.
The target group of a programme can sometimes be limited to one status group, but can also include all status groups (students, doctoral students, researchers, teaching staff, administrative staff). Registration must be done via the ‘Apply now’ button on the offer’s page within the course catalogue as soon as the application phase of the offer is activated. Please note the respective deadline and eventual participation prerequisites. The prerequisites and target groups are listed in the study guide on the respective event’s page.
The programmes in the course catalogue may include formats such as online courses, blended intensive programmes (online course with a mandatory on-site phase), workshops, excursions, summer and winter schools, staff weeks or hackathons in virtual, physical or blended format.
The European University for Well-Being stands for diversity and inclusivity. It supports students with special needs in its short-term programmes and ensures that the programmes are inclusive.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are interested in participating in a programme or, as a teacher, would like to carry out one yourself.
Staff Exchange Opportunities
You can also take part in mobility programmes as administrative or technical university staff member. Some of the EUniWell universities offer staff training weeks for which you can apply for. You can also spend a self-organized stay at a EUniWell member university. Please get in touch with us, if you need any contacts at one of the partner institutions.
To finance such a stay you can for example apply for the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility programme. Further information about this Erasmus+ funding opportunity at University of Cologne can be found on the respective website: Erasmus Staff Mobility
Specific EUniWell travel funds for staff exchanges are unfortunately not available at the moment.
