Dr. Felix Köhler

Felix Köhler has been working since January 2019 as a physician and clinician-scientist in Clinic II for Internal Medicine at the University Hospital Cologne as well as in the nephrology research laboratory in the Excellence Cluster CECAD. In January 2025, he was elected to the board of the Junior Faculty Club and there represents the Faculty of Medicine.

Felix Köhler studied medicine at the University of Cologne and received his doctorate at the Institute for Translational Research of the Excellence Cluster CECAD. He is completing his clinical training in internal medicine and nephrology in Clinic II for Internal Medicine at the University Hospital Cologne. Supported by the Cologne Clinician Scientist Program, Felix Köhler is simultaneously researching acute kidney injury in translational research projects with the goal of transferring new therapy options from bench to bedside.
