In the last seven years INDAC, the International Nights and Days of Animation Cologne brought several animation events to the city with its famous cathedral. We presented both FANTASIA and FANTASIA 2000 from Walt Disney Productions at the Cologne Philharmonic Concert Hall, we screened Kinetica 2, the Centennial Celebration of Oscar Fischinger by the IOTA Center, Los Angeles. The wonderful documentary "Frank & Ollie" about Disney animators Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston could be seen here as well as the sad version of "Arabian Knight", formerly known as The Cobbler and the Thief" by director Richard Williams.

Now STUDIO GHIBLI will be honored with a great retrospective of their phantstic work.

INDAC is a annual festival based at Cologne, Germany. Its goal is to promote every aspect of animation, its past its present and its future.
