My Favorite . . .
It is hard to believe but this is our last assignment for the semester. Twelve texts!!! That is something to be proud of. I hope you have had as much fun writing and reading the assignments as I have.
This week's assignment is again a mixture of styles from what we have worked on. Most everyone has a favorite book, film, character, or song. So this week you can choose one of those and write about it. You can also choose to write an essay or a paragraph, whichever you like. But keep in mind the structures we discussed in the different lessons. If you choose a character, for example, keep in mind what you did for descriptions. If you choose a film or book probably what we said about an expository paragraph would be helpful. If you choose a song it would also be a good idea to include the lyrics for the reader.
Organizational Matters of Importance
After you have completed all the assignments, it will be time to start thinking about getting credit for what you have done. Here is a list to help you out:
- Organize your corrected texts and your revised final texts
- Send your portfolios to me marked OWC portfolio
- Answer this questionnaire and put it in my box or bring it with you (I will collect them anonymously!)
- Come to see me with your printed portfolios. Times will be according to schools. See pages for each school: University of Münster, University of Cologne, KISD
