The German Centers for Research and Innovation (DWIH) form an international network with locations in six major cities. Its aim is to promote the visibility of German innovators and present Germany globally as a competitive location for science and innovation.
The University of Cologne New York Office works closely with the DWIHs New York and San Francisco, where the UoC is a main supporter and Dr. Eva Bosbach a representative member of the boards.
This year's DWIH Network Day will take place on June 27, 2025, 2-6 PM (CET) in-person in Cologne, bringing together representatives from the DWIHs in New Delhi, New York, San Francisco, São Paulo, and Tokyo. Guests will gain insights into DWIH activities in India, the USA, Brazil, and Japan through short, illustrative presentations, and learn first-hand about the DWIH's range of services and opportunities to participate in this global network. In-depth discussions with the representatives of the individual houses will also offer the opportunity for personal exchange. Specific events with support of the UoC NY Office and the DWIHs New York and San Francisco can be explored.
