Indo-German Workshop On The Cross-Cultural Psychology Of Learning In The Age Of AI: Research Innovations Bridging Cognition And Computational Curriculum Design

31st August - 1st September 2026

The workshop is being organised by the India Offices of the University of Cologne (UoC) and Max Planck Society, and is co-funded by the German Centre for Research and Innovation (DWIH) New Delhi.

About the workshop: In the two-day event, scholars from India and Germany will come together to reflect on how cross-cultural psychology is transforming adaptive knowledge systems. The workshop is based on a simple understanding that a curriculum is shaped by cognitive, cultural, and technological influences. Drawing on advances in artificial intelligence, computational curriculum studies, psychology, anthropology, and education sciences, the workshop examines how emerging technologies can support participatory, accessible, and responsible ways of curriculum design.
