We are pleased to invite you to an interesting guided tour in English of the newly redesigned permanent exhibition at the Haus der Geschichte in Bonn: “You Are Part of History. Germany Since 1945.”
This exhibition offers a unique opportunity to explore German history from the end of World War II to the present. Designed to be interactive and engaging, it weaves together major political developments with everyday life, culture, and personal stories. From the division and reunification of Germany to pressing global issues such as migration, climate change, and digitalization – the exhibition connects past and present in a dynamic and accessible way.
During the tour, you will encounter a wide variety of original objects, multimedia installations, and immersive environments that bring history to life. This experience is especially tailored for international students who want to engage with Germany’s past and present from a fresh perspective. We look forward to welcoming you and exploring history together.
