Limestone Plateau)
List of characteristic fabrics:
Fabric 1: non-tempered or moderately tempered
with charred seeds (1A), rounded quartz (1B), or limestone (1C). Combination
of the components are common. Characteristic for the Djara B phase (c.
6000-5300/4800 calBP).
Fabric 2: fine shale (max. grain size < 1.5
mm). Rounded quartz is added in most cases. Thin-walled sherds and small
vessels characteristic for Djara B, others are common in the Sheikh
Muftah phase (c. 4000-2200/6th dyn.)
