Getting Credit for the Course
Well, we have made it to the end of the semester. As I announced last week, I am giving you this week to get everything that might be unfinished cleared up. Everyone can miss one assignment so in the end you should have:
- At least 5 assignments that you wrote.
- The assignments that you wrote which were corrected by a peer.
- The texts you corrected with comments. This can vary according to how many texts you actually received. Fewer than 5 is alright.
When you have that organized, you can 1) send me the files in an e-mail
or 2) print them out.
Please mark the e-mail:
- Portfolio Köln
or - Portfolio KISD (depending on your school, of course).
If you are sending me the files, please do so by Sunday July 11, 2010.
You can then get your necessary annotation/signature for having participated in the course:
- at the University of Cologne on Tuesday July 13 from 14:00 to 15:00 in room 109 **(Students who cannot make this time and have sent me their texts by e-mail, can put their papers for me to sign in my mailbox in the secretary's office.)
- at KISD on Monday July 12 from 17:30 to 18:30 in room 119.
If you have sent me your portfolio by Sunday July 11, you do not need to bring your portfolios, you only need to bring your papers for me to sign.
If you do not send me your texts please bring a hard copy of your texts.
I hope you all enjoyed the course and were able to improve your writing
over the semester. We never stop having the need to learn more, so I hope
this gave you some incentive to continue writing and to share what you
have done with a friend or fellow student. Good luck to all of you and
