Summer of Sustainability 2026
The Summer of Sustainability 2026 at the University of Cologne invites you to get to know sustainability from different perspectives. You can look forward to a wide range of activities and events along the fields of action of the sustainability strategy: research, teaching, learning and education, as well as transfer and campus life.
With the fourth Sustainability Forum, organized by the Vice-Rectorate for Sustainability, the Sustainability Office and the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, as well as the Albertus Magnus Professorship 2026, hosted by the Thomas Institute of the Faculty of Arts, the University of Cologne offers you two exciting and prestigious formats. Additionally, you will find inspiring sustainability-related events in other faculties and institutions of the university, with many open to attend across disciplines.
Let yourself be inspired to think, act and network on topics such as planetary boundaries and intergenerational justice in the context of social coexistence. Reflect on your own role as part of society in the face of global challenges and opportunities.
