Adenauer Lectures

With the Adenauer Lectures, the University of Cologne and the Adenauer family have launched a high-profile lecture series.

The format honours Konrad Adenauer's services to the University of Cologne. After the First World War, Adenauer successfully campaigned for the establishment of a ‘new’ university in Cologne and is therefore closely linked to the university's recent history. With the Adenauer Lectures, we want to create a forum for discussing political culture in Germany, Europe and the world with renowned international personalities and reflecting on the major political issues of our time.
