International

As a globally active and well-connected institution, the University of Cologne is convinced of the value of international exchange and of European and global networks for the further development of research, teaching, learning and knowledge transfer. Internationalization in research, teaching and knowledge transfer as a cross-sectional objective along with the expansion of networks and partnerships represent key priorities for the University of Cologne. For this purpose, it employs innovative formats and structures such as the Global Faculty Program and the Cologne International Forum to attract international visiting researchers. It provides on-site support through the Welcome Centre for international researchers, as well as a wide range of advisory services; it also provides information and advice on study abroad programmes and internships for Cologne students and it plays a leading role in international collaborations such as the European University for Wellbeing (EUniWell).
