IT specialists for system integration know how to connect to the network. You implement customer-specific information solutions by combining hardware and software components.
Your profile
- At least Fachoberschulreife (technical secondary school entrance qualification)
- Ability to understand logical and mathematical problems
- Interest in information and communication technology
Your tasks
- You realize customer-specific information and communication solutions
- You support the users with error diagnosis and troubleshooting
- You combine hardware and software components into complex systems
- You advise and train users in the selection and use of the devices
The apprenticeship course
- Duration of the apprenticeship: 3 years
- Classes at Georg-Simon-Ohm-Berufskolleg in Cologne
- The training takes place in the Regional Computing Centre or at other institutions and institutes of the University of Cologne
