Your profile
- At least subject-specific or general university entrance qualification (Hochschulreife)
- Good performance in Mathematics and another natural science
- Ability to understand logical and mathematical problems
- Interest in information and communication technology
- Good customer service
The apprenticeship course
- Duration of the apprenticeship: 3 years
- Classes at Georg-Simon-Ohm-Berufskolleg in Cologne
- Training takes place in various departments of the Centre for Teacher Education
Your tasks
- You develop application solutions and software architecture according to customer-specific requirements and support them
- You create concepts for software-based presentations and conduct training yourself
- You configure operating systems for specific applications and apply different operating system control languages
- You create procedures for automating processes and integrate them into the system workflow
- You provide and set up user manuals and help programmes for interactive user support
